Community Guidelines
Veltos is a place to turn ideas into playable games, share creative work, and discover games made by others. These Guidelines explain how we expect people to create, publish, play, and interact on Veltos AI and Veltos Games.
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to Veltos AI, Veltos Games, our websites and applications, and related features operated by Pireality Metaverse Private Limited (“Veltos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to account holders, creators, players, commenters, and anyone who submits, generates, uploads, shares, or publishes content through our services (“Services”). They supplement our applicable terms and policies.
By using the Services, you agree to follow these Guidelines and applicable law. If you cannot follow them, do not use the relevant feature. Some features may have additional rules, age restrictions, or publisher requirements.
1. Our Principles
We want Veltos to be creative, useful, and safe. We expect everyone to:
- Treat people with respect. Criticism of a game or idea is fine; threats, harassment, and targeted abuse are not.
- Create responsibly. Consider whether a game or asset could expose someone to harm, violate their rights, or mislead players.
- Respect privacy and rights. Only share personal information or material you have permission and a lawful basis to share.
- Be honest. Do not impersonate others, manipulate engagement, hide harmful functionality, or misrepresent what a game does.
- Help keep the community safe. Report serious concerns and do not retaliate against people who raise them in good faith.
2. Content and Conduct That Are Not Allowed
You may not create, request, upload, generate, publish, distribute, or promote content or behavior that falls into the categories below. These rules apply to prompts, outputs, code, game mechanics, images, audio, names, thumbnails, descriptions, comments, messages, profiles, and links.
2.1 Child sexual exploitation and endangerment
- Any sexualization, exploitation, grooming, or abuse of minors, including fictional or AI-generated material that depicts or sexualizes a minor.
- Soliciting, grooming, threatening, exploiting, or attempting to contact minors for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting, or directing users to child sexual abuse material or content that facilitates child exploitation.
We may escalate suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities or specialist organizations where required or appropriate.
2.2 Sexual exploitation and explicit sexual content
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, sexual blackmail, or content that exploits a real person sexually without consent.
- Pornography or graphic sexual content where prohibited by the Service or the relevant distribution platform.
- Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual solicitation, or content that encourages sexual abuse or exploitation.
2.3 Harassment, hate, and threats
- Threats of violence, stalking, intimidation, targeted humiliation, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Hateful attacks, dehumanization, or advocacy of exclusion, abuse, or violence against people based on protected or similarly vulnerable characteristics.
- Encouraging others to harass, report-bomb, threaten, or attack a person or group.
- Publishing private or identifying information about someone without authorization, including doxxing.
Good-faith discussion, satire, fictional conflict, and criticism may be allowed where they do not cross into threats, targeted abuse, or other prohibited conduct.
2.4 Violence, dangerous acts, and criminal facilitation
- Content that credibly threatens real-world violence or encourages imminent harm.
- Instructions, tools, or simulations designed to facilitate real-world violent wrongdoing, serious criminal activity, or evasion of law enforcement.
- Promotion or recruitment for terrorist or violent extremist organizations, or praise intended to encourage real-world terrorist violence.
- Graphic real-world violence or gore where prohibited by applicable product rules or distribution platforms.
Fictional, non-graphic action, fantasy combat, and ordinary game challenges may be acceptable when presented responsibly and not used to facilitate real-world harm.
2.5 Self-harm and dangerous challenges
- Encouraging, instructing, or pressuring people to self-harm, attempt suicide, or participate in dangerous real-world challenges.
- Content that glorifies self-harm or provides detailed methods for causing serious injury.
Supportive, recovery-oriented, or educational content may be allowed when handled responsibly and without instructions that facilitate harm.
2.6 Illegal, deceptive, or exploitative content
- Scams, phishing, impersonation for fraud, deceptive giveaways, fake support accounts, or schemes intended to steal money or credentials.
- Malware, spyware, credential theft, unauthorized access, malicious code, or attempts to compromise users, devices, accounts, or systems.
- Content that facilitates trafficking, exploitation, serious illegal activity, or evasion of applicable law.
- Unlawful gambling, fraudulent betting, or real-money wagering features where not expressly authorized and legally supported.
- Promotions or transactions involving illegal goods or services.
2.7 Privacy violations and personal data
- Sharing another person's private messages, contact details, financial data, credentials, precise location, or other sensitive personal information without lawful authorization.
- Using images, voice recordings, likenesses, or personal data to impersonate, threaten, defraud, or harass someone.
- Collecting personal data from players through hidden, deceptive, or unauthorized means.
2.8 Intellectual property and unlawful copying
- Uploading or publishing material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
- Passing off another creator's game, assets, or identity as your own, or falsely implying sponsorship or affiliation.
- Using copyrighted characters, music, artwork, logos, game assets, or other protected works without a sufficient legal right or permission.
See Section 4 for additional information. We may restrict content in response to a credible rights complaint or legal requirement.
2.9 Spam, manipulation, and disruptive behavior
- Repeated unsolicited promotion, mass posting, automated spam, or irrelevant links.
- Fake accounts, bot activity, fraudulent plays, ratings manipulation, fake engagement, or attempts to manipulate leaderboards or analytics.
- Abusing bugs, exploiting platform vulnerabilities, evading rate limits, or disrupting the availability of the Services.
- Submitting repetitive, deliberately misleading, or abusive reports to target other users.
2.10 Misinformation and harmful impersonation
- Fraudulent or harmful impersonation of a real person, company, public authority, or Veltos staff member.
- Using synthetic or altered media to deceive people about a real person or event in a way that causes significant harm, facilitates fraud, or violates applicable law.
- Presenting a game as an official product, endorsement, or partnership when it is not.
2.11 Other prohibited or unsuitable content
We may restrict content that is illegal, unsafe, materially deceptive, or incompatible with the purpose and audience of a specific Service, including content disallowed by an app store, hosting provider, advertiser, or distribution partner whose requirements apply to that feature.
3. Responsible Use of AI Tools
AI tools make game creation easier, but users remain responsible for their use of the tools and for content they choose to publish. You must not use Veltos AI to:
- Generate content that violates these Guidelines, applicable law, or another person's rights.
- Create malware, credential-harvesting flows, hidden surveillance, exploit code intended for abuse, or other malicious functionality.
- Generate sexualized depictions of minors, non-consensual sexual imagery, targeted abuse, or deceptive impersonations.
- Bypass safety mechanisms, conceal prohibited behavior, or repeatedly re-submit prohibited content in altered wording.
- Generate games that secretly collect data, execute harmful actions, redirect users deceptively, or mislead players about purchases, rewards, or functionality.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to existing content. Review and test games before publishing. You are responsible for removing unsafe functionality and checking that you have the rights needed for any inputs and outputs you use.
4. Copyright, Ownership, and Permissions
You must have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit, generate, upload, use, or publish content through the Services. This includes code, music, sound effects, images, fonts, characters, trademarks, voices, likenesses, and other assets.
- Do not assume that material available online is free to use.
- Follow the terms of any third-party assets, models, libraries, or tools used in your game.
- Respect open-source licenses and any attribution or distribution requirements.
- Do not claim that Veltos endorses, owns, or has officially partnered with you unless that is expressly authorized.
You retain whatever rights you have in content you submit, subject to applicable law and the terms governing the Services. You grant Veltos only the permissions described in our applicable Terms of Service or other agreement that are necessary to operate, host, process, display, secure, and provide features you choose to use. Publishing or distributing content may require additional permissions as explained in those terms.
If you believe content on Veltos infringes your rights, email contact@veltos.ai with the subject “Copyright or IP Report.” Include the content location, identify the rights involved, explain the issue, provide your contact details, and include any evidence or authorization reasonably necessary to assess the claim. Do not knowingly submit false or misleading claims. We may request additional information and may remove or restrict disputed content while reviewing a complaint.
5. Publishing and Player Safety
Creators are responsible for reviewing games before publishing them. Before release, check that:
- The game works as described and does not contain hidden or malicious functionality.
- Its title, thumbnail, description, content, and age suitability are not misleading.
- You have the rights needed for all code, assets, audio, branding, and other included material.
- It does not unexpectedly collect personal information, request unnecessary permissions, or send players to deceptive destinations.
- Any purchases, ads, rewards, data collection, or third-party links are presented honestly and meet applicable rules.
- It complies with the requirements of any app store, publisher, distribution partner, or advertising service through which it is made available.
We may review, limit, label, age-restrict, delist, or remove a game when we reasonably believe it violates these Guidelines, creates a safety or legal risk, or fails to meet applicable platform requirements. We do not guarantee that every game is reviewed before it becomes available, and users should exercise judgment when opening links or interacting with third-party content.
6. Accounts and Platform Integrity
- Provide accurate account information where requested and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- Do not share, sell, rent, or transfer accounts in a way that violates our terms or creates security or fraud risks.
- Do not impersonate another person, creator, company, or Veltos representative.
- Do not circumvent suspensions, restrictions, moderation decisions, or technical safeguards by creating replacement accounts or using another person’s account.
- Do not probe, reverse engineer, or interfere with systems except where applicable law expressly permits it or we have authorized it in writing.
- Use APIs, automated tools, and integrations only as permitted by their applicable terms and our instructions.
You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to the Service and your location. The Services are not intended for children under 13 unless a specific product expressly states otherwise and is operated with the safeguards required by law. Additional age restrictions may apply to particular content or features.
7. Reporting a Concern
If you find a game, account, comment, asset, or other activity that appears to violate these Guidelines, report it to contact@veltos.ai with the subject “Community Guidelines Report.” If an in-product reporting feature is available, you may use that as well.
To help us assess a report, include:
- A link to the game, content, profile, or other relevant page, or its title and creator name.
- A clear description of what happened and which rule you believe may have been violated.
- Relevant screenshots or other evidence, if safe and lawful to share.
- Your contact details if you would like a response.
Please report concerns honestly and in good faith. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information or redistribute harmful material in a report. Do not use the reporting process to intimidate or silence someone. We may prioritize reports according to severity, urgency, and available information. We may not be able to provide details about actions taken against another user for privacy or safety reasons.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not rely on a Veltos report as an emergency response channel.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
We may use a combination of automated tools, human review, user reports, technical signals, and information from trusted partners to detect, assess, and address violations. Automated systems may make mistakes; where appropriate and available, users can request human review or appeal a decision.
Depending on the nature, severity, frequency, and context of a violation, we may take one or more actions, including:
- Removing, blocking, limiting visibility of, or disabling access to content or a game.
- Adding warnings, content labels, age restrictions, or feature limitations.
- Disabling publishing, commenting, generation, messaging, monetization, or other functions.
- Issuing a warning or requiring corrective action.
- Temporarily suspending or permanently terminating an account or access to the Services.
- Preserving relevant records or reporting activity to rights holders, platforms, regulators, or law enforcement where required or appropriate.
We consider context where appropriate, including the severity and credibility of the concern, potential harm, prior conduct, and whether corrective action is possible. Serious violations—especially child exploitation, credible threats, malicious code, fraud, or repeated abuse—may result in immediate restriction or termination. We may take protective action while an investigation is ongoing.
We do not guarantee advance notice in every case. We may provide an explanation and an opportunity to appeal where appropriate and legally permitted. We may restrict content or accounts to comply with law, protect users, preserve the integrity of the Services, or meet platform requirements even where a violation is not finally established.
9. Appeals and Review
If you believe we made a mistake in removing your content or restricting your account, email contact@veltos.ai with the subject “Community Guidelines Appeal.” Include the affected account or content link, the date or notice of the decision if available, and a short explanation of why you believe the decision should be reviewed.
Please submit an appeal within 30 days of the decision where reasonably possible. We may still consider later appeals when appropriate or when required by law. We will review appeals in good faith and may ask for additional information. After review, we may uphold, change, or reverse the original decision. Some decisions may not be reversible—for example, where content has been removed due to legal obligations or copied by third parties.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee restoration of content or access, and we may limit repeated appeals that do not provide new information or are abusive.
10. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as our Services, community, safety practices, or legal obligations evolve. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after an update means these Guidelines apply to your subsequent use, subject to any consent requirements imposed by law.
